About the project
This is something we’ve been working on for a while and we’re pleased to release this survey as a first step in the broader project.
As the peak body that represents the young people and the youth sector in SA, over the last 40+ years we’ve seen changes to what is funded, the way funding is delivered and what funders expect in return, and have a good idea about how that has impacted service delivery, workers and young people.
The sector mapping project will provide us with rich data to quantify the youth sector, identify demand and gaps as well as training and development needs and barriers.
The survey
Do you work with young people in South Australia? We want to hear from you!
We’ve created the below survey to gather information from across the youth sector and inform our advocacy.
This includes who works in what roles and where, what training/qualifications they bring to their roles, the level of demand on services and how that impacts workers and their clients, and how well workers are travelling with regards to capacity and wellbeing.
The survey is open to anyone who works directly with young people in a non-government youth or community organisation or local government and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Spread the word
The more responses we get, the more we can ensure the legitimacy of the data and our subsequent advocacy, so we greatly appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey.
We’d love your help getting the survey out further, so we encourage you to share with anyone who works directly with young people or manages people who do.
If you can help share it further, please get in contact with Mallory who can provide you with promotional content to share on your platforms.
