2015-16 State Budget Snapshot

While the 2015 Federal budget seems to be going in a better direction, much of the budget rests on the idea that we have a robust job market that can be accessed by building skills, confidence and reducing personal barriers. Unfortunately this is not the case and with a staggering youth unemployment rate in South Australia, the lack of a comprehensive jobs plan as a foundation in this budget to boost employment, particularly for those aged 15 to 25, risks placing young people into further disadvantage.The following is a snapshot of the good and not so good policies contained in this year's budget.
